Dan Conaty comes to Catalyst Consulting Group with over 23 years of focused expertise in Public Sector sales, marketing & management in the commercial furniture industry. Dan has vast experience and has built successful Public Sector programs at small, medium and large manufacturers.
Dan's exuberance, sector acumen and decades of relationship building has led to deep knowledge of how to navigate & succeed in the Federal, State/Local, Cooperative and Education markets at a regional and national level.
Dan enjoys the process of building a successful Public Sector program, from micro & macro strategies, deploying internal & external mechanisms to build brand awareness, focused distribution, growth and profitability.
Dan grew up in Fairfax Station, VA, lived in Germany for three years and currently lives in Chapel Hill, NC. He is a twin and proud father of twins, Drew and Finn (8 years old). Dan has three loving and amazing dogs, Gabby (11), Truffles (5 months) & Patches (5 months).

Ryan Hay
Ryan Hay brings over 15 years of experience in the contract furniture industry, exclusively focused on federal and public sector sales to the elite public sector team. Ryan is a seasoned professional with unparalleled knowledge and expertise in servicing the federal government. His impressive career includes notable positions in government sales positions at Inscape and Nightingale.
Ryan has in depth knowledge of the FAR and Federal buying practices. He has high level expertise with RPS/RFQs and was an architect of sustainable Federal Programs using a combination of strategic positioning with dealer partners and end user relationships.
Ryan has strong coaching skills. He has trained over 500 sales and support staff during his career with a high level of success.
Ryan lives in Ontario, Canada with his two year old german shepherd, Finnegan. He’s a graduate of Sheridan College and Humber College. Hay is passionate about American history.

Lee Mauney
Lee Mauney comes to Catalyst with 17 years in the contract furniture industry working with small and large business manufacturers. With a passion for small business government sales, her strength is in business development through analysis and targeted plans to increase market share in public sector sales especially within the Federal Government.
Whether it’s developing a strategy to respond to pre-solicitations to shape the RFQ favorably, or positioning product, pricing and relevant award criteria to win an RFQ response, Lee has lead teams and presented on how to win Federal business. As a long time advocate for small business manufacturers, she has leveraged relationships with OSDBU’s; small business advocates, Minority Business Developments Agencies; contracting officers; contract specialists; technical representatives to help grow sales.
In addition, she keeps up with legislative actions, contracts law, FAR changes. Budget analysis and appropriations that help shape growth for Federal business development. She is adept at managing Teaming Agreements and putting together teams to pursue Federal opportunities. This includes working with both manufacturers and dealers to manage large IDIQ contracts from pre-solicitation through post award and day to day management of the contract. She also has experience in State, Local, Higher Education and Cooperative purchasing at bid response, contract management, business development and sales level.
Lee lives in Louisiana and enjoys spending time with her 4 children, their spouses and her 7 grandchildren. She has a white husky (River) who loves to play with her husband’s black cat (Jinx).
Jeff Woodward joins Catalyst Consulting Group after 35 years in the contract furniture and fixtures industry. Most of his experience has been to launch and build successful public sector (B2G) programs while holding leadership positions with both large and small manufacturers.
Whether it is identifying strong national or regional market conditions or managing long term mandatory source contract opportunities, Jeff has created the necessary go to market tools, training and internal processes that focuses on competitive strengths and leverages long standing relationships with core competent distribution partners.
For more than three decades, Jeff and his teams have completed countless major federal projects throughout the United States and Overseas. He also has a broad number of successes overseeing the State/Local/Cooperative sector as well.
Jeff is the proud father of three children and six grandchildren that keep him busy especially during soccer and little league baseball seasons. He and his wife Christine live in Clarksburg, MD with their beagle ‘Dutch’.

She specializes in helping companies differentiate and thrive in today’s crowded marketplace. Using brand differentiation and marketing strategy, she helps companies build engagement and traction among their many audiences.
Contract Specialist
Tonja Blackgrove
Tonja brings over 17 years of furniture and Public Sector contract knowledge to Catalyst.
Tonja has worked on both the manufacturer and dealer sides of the industry and has vast knowledge of State, Local and Cooperative contracts.
Tonja has managed full bid cycle for RFPSs for State contracts, National cooperatives, County/Regional contracts, and University contracts. Tonja supported field sales in the form of sales volume reports, leads, marketing and bid information requested for projects within the State as well as answer any general questions related to actively held contracts.
She was the point person for maintenance of dedicated web pages for each State contract as well keep updated internal government webpage and salesforce sales support documents.
